Would you like to learn about gentle parenting and respectful care techniques? Do you want to make sure your child is well behaved and nice to be around but you don’t want to resort to harsh discipline and shouting?
Did you imagine a connected and present relationship with your child but as they become more independent you find yourself struggling to get them to listen?
Or maybe you feel like you and your child are doing just fine but you feel the pressure from others to “make them do as you say” and are looking for reassurance and a few more tips and tricks for your parenting toolbox?
Lara Ritson of Peaceful Learning will guide you through a fun, hands-on workshop full of practical guidance, real-life examples and simple techniques to build your confidence in this parenting style.
You will learn how to deal with common parenting flashpoints like:
As always, this will be a safe, non-judgemental space with a relaxed, open atmosphere where you can discuss the challenges we all face and go home with new tactics to apply in your home that same day. This really works!
With over 15 years of childcare experience as a teacher, nanny, parenting consultant and nanny agency, Lara would like to share with you, ways of being with your children that really work to produce better outcomes for all. She has travelled to New Zealand, Hungary and the US to learn about ways of interacting with children so that they feel seen, heard and loved incorporating Montessori, Steiner and RIE® into her work. Learn about the effects of positive guidance on your childs behaviour, finding your own centre through mindfulness, the importance of uninterrupted play and a childs natural curiosity to learn. We will also discuss how to get your child to cooperate in caregiving moments and routines such as bath, bed and meal times, nappy changes and even, leaving the house (!) to help those moments become a joy rather than a challenge.
Come along and join me on the 31st May to learn tools to help your relationship flourish with your child through a fun, hands-on workshop. Held at The Daisy Foundation, Cardiff, this will be a safe space where you can be your authentic self with a relaxed, open atmosphere leaving shoes at the door. We will discuss the challenges we all face and find ways to help make those challenges a little easier for you.
